Institut Pasteur of Shanghai, Chinese Academy of Sciences (IPS) is the first international institute under the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Founded in 2004 by CAS, the Institut Pasteur and the Shanghai Municipal Government, IPS is an independent, nonprofit life sciences institute that works closely with Chinese authorities to address public health problems.
